Site Geochemist (Cardiff)Reference: BY1051Salary: £28,000 - £35,000This is a fantastic opportunity for a chemistry graduate to kickstart their career in a Site Geochemist role at a leading biomass and soil treatment company. The position calls for an individual with a strong chemistry background to join the team in Cardiff,where they will be trained and given the chance to be involved in exciting contaminated land and hazardous waste projects. With no experience in the industry required, its a brilliant way to get on the geochemical career ladder!This Site Geochemist role is offering:

The main roles and responsibilities of the successful Site Geochemist will include the classification of hazardous waste, the reviewing of analytical data reflecting waste acceptance, chemical composition and contamination and supporting teams by collectingsamples and writing comprehensive reports. .To be considered for this Site Geochemist role you should:- Have a HNC in chemistry, or similar/higher qualification in the subject. This is essential.- Have a clean and valid full UK driving licence, as commuting to site will be required.- Be commutable to or live in Cardiff.- A basic knowledge of waste classification and/or Technical Waste Assessments is preferred.- Have excellent team work and time management skills.If you are interested in this or other roles Engineering/Remediation roles please do not hesitate to contact Beth Young on or call .
