Job Description

Join this world renowned business as their SEO Editor. They are currently on the look out for not one but two great SEO minds to take the reins of delivering their search strategies and develop new and lasting business. Reporting directly to the Head of Acquisition this talented SEO storyteller will thrive in a fast-paced environment with a positive can-do approach. The successful candidate will be an experienced journalist, manager or head of content with an SEO background or relevant SEO experience. This role is nationwide with flexibility to work from home but also demands the successful candidate to attend different locations and offices across the UK depending on workload.Roles and Responsibilities of the SEO Editor

  • The main crux is to be the creator and implementer of strategies that will acquire new and existing quality audiences
  • Keep the SEO team up to date on the latest training in SEO practices
  • To have the finger on the pulse of the newest and most effective software and techniques in gaining quality search traffic
  • Be constructive in feedback and offer support to team leads to build their capabilities and get the best return from their departments independently.
    • Skills and Attributes
  • It is essential that this person has a minimum of 2 years quality experience in a similar role with up to date working knowledge of SEO. Would suit a successful Head of Content, Head of SEO or highly capable journalist
  • It is essential this person is able to fulfil the highly flexible nature of this role visiting sites nationwide and when appropriate using technology to communicate with teams
  • An enthusiastic learner who is committed to constant personal development who is regularly reading and updating knowledge on SEO as well as attending industry events and conferences
  • An excellent team leader who can motivate and inspire whilst delivering training on best practice SEO
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver unmissable deadlines
