Job Description

Calling all Senior Structural Engineers! Blueprint Recruitment has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Structural Engineer to join a leading Design and Engineering Consultancy to work variety of high-profile Engineering projects. This permanent position provides the successful candidatethe flexibility to work on a hybrid basis, attending the Cardiff office 3 times per week.Our client is a reputable, multi-disciplinary global consultancy comprised of expert engineers who offer a range of design consultancy services across a number of disciplines, including Structural, Civil, and Architectural opportunities. This company worksacross a range of industry sectors, including Infrastructure, Commercial, Defence, Energy, Transportation and Education.Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver multiple projects or parts of larger projects to completion
  • Ensure the provision of efficient, high-quality structural Engineering design
  • Build client relationships and help identify business opportunities
  • Offer support and guidance to more junior members of the team
  • Be the first point of contact for clients, contractors, design teams, and third parties
  • Effectively manage own time, especially if allocated to more than one project
Key requirements:
  • Has successfully led the Structural Engineering delivery of small projects, including managing small focused project teams.
  • Chartered Engineer or working towards chartership, MIStructE or MICE
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in the design of common structural materials, demonstrating a solid foundation in Structural Engineering principles and a good understanding of current design standards and practices.
  • Proven experience in developing projects from concept to construction stage
  • The ability to make decisions, act on your own initiative, and operate in a pro-active way
