This programme is designed to support parents in actively participating in theirchilds learning journey, enhancing childrens literacy, numeracy, and oracy skills.   • Develop and implement an outreach and engagement strategy to inform and involve partners and stakeholders in the programme and related activities.
  • Promote the programme through various means, such as presentations, training sessions, events, and online platforms.
  • Manage ongoing relationships with schools, nurseries, local authorities, educational consortia, and other partners to ensure active participation in the programme.
  • Expand the number of schools and nurseries actively engaged in the programme and other relevant activities.
Programme Delivery:
  • Ensure the programme and related activities meet their internal and external targets.
  • Monitor programme and activity progress, assess risks, and report issues appropriately.
  • Develop high-quality programme content, including resources and practitioner training, aligned with the needs of children, families, and practitioners in Wales.
  • Create resources and supporting materials in various formats, including bilingual resources, to meet programme goals.
  • Support monitoring and evaluation planning and implementation for programmes and activities in Wales.
  • Stay updated on sector-specific developments to ensure program relevance and impact.
  • Share information about the charitys programmes and sector developments in Wales with colleagues to enhance organisational knowledge and insight.
  • Support the Head of Country for Wales and the charitys Programmes team in developing new activities and strategic direction.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Knowledge of the education sector in Wales, especially related to the Foundation Phase, and familiarity with government initiatives and legislation.
  • Experience in building effective relationships with stakeholders, developing high-quality educational resources, and delivering training.
  • The ability to work seamlessly in both English and Welsh, with fluency in written, spoken, and face-to-face communication.
  • Strong project management skills, proactive and outcomes-focused, resilient, detail-oriented, and committed to equal opportunities and equality.
