I have a exciting new role for a Cardiff based organisation who specialise in software for the health sector. They are a growing startup who are at a super exciting time during their journey. Having doubled in size in the past year, they have made a recentdecision to bring their development team in house and are rapidly expanding their tech team to support this. Whilst they currently have a contract QA/ Test engineer I place until the end of the year, they are now looking to hire their first permanent QA/ Testerto join their team.Initially they would like someone who is happy to work full time from their central Cardiff office but you can move to hybrid way of working (2 days a week from home) once established and settled in. Its a super exciting time to be joining as they are lookingfor an experienced QA/Tester to take ownership for and continue to build on , streamline and evolve their Test/ QA processes and strategy as they continue to grow.Youll be the champion of quality and work closely with their developers and Product Owner in an agile environment. This is a very hands on role and you will primarily focus on testing across their main products which are web based applications, however,this application also extends to mobile platforms and relies on various APIs.Whilst you will be doing manual testing, the company are eager to automate some of their testing processes, and would like someone capable of starting to get some automation in place for them and you will have the autonomy to select the tools and technologiesthat best suit this.Their ideal person would be an experienced Tester/ QA experienced in both manual and automation testing, with API testing experience who is eager to have the opportunity to take the reigns on testing for a company going through an exciting period of growth(and happy to work from their office 3 days a week).Salary is up to £50.000. if youd like to hear more please apply below to Sam Miller at SR2 - Socially Responsible Recruitment.QA Engineer, Software Test Engineer, Test Engineer, Software Tester, QA Test
