In this role, you will oversee the account executive team by delegating tasks, monitoring your team’s workload, and encouraging stellar results.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone keen to take the next step in their career, taking responsibility for the delivery of your clients’ PR and comms plans and working to achieve your objectives.As the Account Manager, you’ll have your eye on the ball and ensure the agency is promoted in the best possible light to potential and existing clients and use your creativity to implement strategy and present the results.RequirementsYou’ll need at least 3 years’ PR agency experience, including experience in media relations, managing social media campaigns, implementing advertising, and developing strong organic content. If you can highlight some evidence of solid media contacts, thiswill be a bonus!As an Account Manager, you’ll understand that measurement and evaluation is key. Ideally you can confidently explain your understanding of modern PR techniques and be able to communicate at all levels both within the agency and to third parties.The ideal candidate needs to be a good team player, with awesome interpersonal skills and a strong self-motivation game. You’ll also need a drivers license and ideally your own car. Responsibilities Efficiently oversee the day-to-day operations for your clients, responding promptly to inquiries with the utmost professionalism in media handling, marketing, digital, and company expertise.You’ll be taking charge of a set of key accounts, ensuring top-notch service by owning client plans, updating them regularly, and proactively adjusting activities to meet objectives. This will include organising meetings, press conferences, hospitality functions,and other PR events on behalf of your clients.Managing the workload of junior team members, providing mentorship and on-the-job training in essential areas like writing, media relations, social media, and marketing.Contributing to the development of strategies for both existing and new clients, infusing creative and viable ideas into year-long activity plans that include above and below the line tactics.Your role will involve delivering high-quality written materials across various platforms, such as press releases, web copy, client reports, and social media content. Attention to detail is key, and youll be responsible for approving the work of AccountExecutives before passing it on for final approval by the Account Director.Maintaining a broad network of media contacts and actively seeking out new channels and opportunities for your clients.Building trust with clients by fostering excellent relations through positive phone interactions, meetings, and industry research that showcases your broad knowledge.Taking charge of monitoring client budgets, ensuring all costs are managed, and the agency achieves necessary profits monthly and annually.Benefits
