Passive Fire Protection Installer We are now looking for Passive Fire Protection Installers / Engineers to join an established and growing contractor in the South Wales area.Key Responsibilities Install fire stopping to fire doorsSmall to large penetrationsUse of ablative battsReading site plansWorking in flats/housing/care homes/commercial premises to include working in confined spacesTo ensure all work is carried out to a standard that satisfies the customer, company and accreditations (FIRAS)To consistently achieve agreed performance targetsTo keep the Passive Fire Protection Manager up to date on progress or potential delaysTo maintain cleanliness of provided vehicleTo adhere to the companys quality procedures in all aspects of the jobTo act in a safe manner in accordance with Health & Safety regulations and requirements Required KnowledgeWhat we need from you NVQ level 2 in Passive Fire Protection preferred but not requiredFiras card preferred but not requiredPrevious experience in fire barrier systems i.e. Rockwool Curtains preferredPrevious experience in ablative batt work preferredWillingness to learn related software on PDAFull driving licenseGood communication skillsThe applicant should be able to manage his own diary, be punctual, polite and keen to work as part of a busy fire safety team.
