Job Description

Junior Network Engineer £25,000 - £30,000 + BenefitsCardiff, South wales (Hybrid/Remote)An award-winning Managed Service Provider (MSP), who specialise in Cyber Security, IT Networking and Infrastructure, are seeking an ambitious Network Engineer to join their growing team in South Wales.As a Junior Network Engineer, you will work with a portfolio of public sector clients, offering technical solutions mainly focused on Routing and Switching. You will manage the tickets alongside an existing technical team, ensuring tickets are dealt withwithin agreed SLAs and escalate complex issues to the wider team. You will provide an excellent customer service to clients, handling queries via email and over the phone efficiently, whilst also keeping them updated throughout the process.Previous experience working in this role is preferable, however my client will consider applicants who have a real passion for IT and have some relevant technical support experience. A degree in a Networking/IT related degree is preferred, but not essentialand possessing the CCNA R&S or Security certification is highly desirable!What are we looking for

  • Knowledge of Cisco technology
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Basic network infrastructure knowledge
  • Full UK driving license with own vehicle
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced technical environment
  • Good organisation skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
