Job Description

Internal Sales Consultant - Wall & Floor TilesJob Title: Internal Sales Consultant - Wall & Floor TilesIndustry Sector: Wall and Floor Tiles, Retail Showrooms, Distribution, Mosaics, Porcelain, Ceramic, Glass and StoneLocation: Cardiff and surrounding areasRemuneration: £22,000 - £23,000 + uncapped commission Benefits: Full Benefits PackageThe role of the Internal Sales Consultant - Wall & Floor Tiles will involve:

  • Internal sales position, selling a manufactured and distributed range of wall & floor tiles such as; porcelain tiles, ceramic tiles, mosaic tiles and glass & stone tiles
  • Greeting customers in a confident and proactive way understanding the customers wants and needs
  • Generating sales through retail and trade customers
  • Maintaining a good product knowledge to advise customers
  • Have good understanding of current sales and promotions
  • Taking stock delivery from the warehouse
  • Upsell and cross sell products wherever possible
  • Ensure the showroom is fully stocked and displays are presentable
  • Arrange all merchandise on displays to promote sales
  • Record all sales related details to inform management
The ideal applicant will be an Internal Sales Consultant - Wall & Floor Tiles with:
  • Must have retail sales experience, ideally within the tiling industry
  • Good personable personal who can build relationships with customers
  • Tile experience is not essential, our client is open to many interior product backgrounds such as; adhesives, office furniture, kitchens, bathrooms, lighting, fabrics, wall coverings, wallpapers, ceilings, soft furnishings, floor coverings etc
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbally
  • Good numeracy skills
  • Enthusiastic, sales driven individual
