Job Description

Interim Management Accountant6 Month ContractHybrid WorkingHalliday Marx have partnered with a large Media Organisation to recruit an Interim Management Accountant for 6 months.This role will provide professional financial support to a range of stakeholders, effective control of financial processes and delivering operational excellence.This role is Hybrid working pattern with 2-3 days spent in the office.Your Key Duties and Responsibilities will include, but not be limited too;

  • Preparing periodic financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, budgets, cash flows, variance analysis and commentaries;
  • Ensuring business spending is kept in line with the budget;
  • Providing a support service by working with all departments and the management team to help make financial decisions;
  • Informing key strategic decisions and formulating business strategies;
  • Analysing financial performance and contributing to medium and long-term business planning/forecasts;
  • Support negotiating on major projects, loans and grants;
  • Interpreting and communicating financial data to non-financial managers;
  • Monitoring and evaluating financial information systems and suggesting improvements where needed;
  • Implementing corporate governance procedures, risk management and internal controls.
The Successful Candidate;
  • Professional accounting qualification e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent
  • Significant experience of delivering a high quality accounting and reporting service.
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence.
  • Ability to take complex data/principles and to communicate these to key stakeholders
  • Excellent team player who can is a self starter
