Head of IT (Law Firm)Head of IT (Law Firm)Location: Trowbridge, WiltshireSalary: Very Competitive + Excellent BenefitsFull Time, Permanent, 8.30am - 5.00pm, Monday - FridayOur client, an established legal firm, is seeking a Head of IT to manage and enhance their network infrastructure.In this role, you will oversee network management, security, and data integrity, working to minimise downtime and ensure network reliability.Responsibilities: Lead IT strategy development and implementation. Identify IT opportunities and efficiencies aligned with business objectives. Mitigate IT risks and vulnerabilities. Proactively plan hardware and software upgrades. Budget planning and expenditure monitoring. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and accreditations. Adapt IT policies to meet new legislation and business needs. Stay updated on IT hardware and software advancements. Manage and develop the IT team. Ensure legal and efficient operation of company hardware and software. Analyse and optimise telephony and digital dictation systems. Evaluate contracts with external service providers. Maintain IT Disaster Recovery planning. Collaborate with department heads to assess future IT requirements. Strengthen cybersecurity measures. Implement ITIL methodologies.Requirements: Previous experience working as Head of IT or in a similar role Skilled in IT management, ideally in the legal sector. IT proficiency, including ITIL methodologies. SQL Server Management expertise. Prince Project Management skills. Knowledge of Office 365 and Azure. Deep understanding of MS Server 2022 in a Hyper V Environment. Familiarity with Mimecast.
