Please contact Ieuan Savage for further details!Risk Manager / Data Governance / Data Management / Digital JourneysAs our customer continues to expand their digital proposition across the business, there is now an exciting new opportunity to join our customer in a Group Data & Digital Risk Manager capacity.We anticipate that the successful candidate for this exciting new position will have responsibility for the following:*monitor, review and challenge the application of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework within Data and Digital activities for the business from a Line 2 perspective.*support Senior Management and / or the Board as they look to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness and consistency of Risk Management practices.*develop a 12-month plan of works, to be approved by the Head of Group Risk, as part of the formation of the Group Risk Annual Plan.*build relationships with key Senior Managers and Board Members to understand any current or upcoming risk challenges and how you can support them in meeting these challenges, in line with the company’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework.*where required, you will provide consultancy and support to Senior Management and / or the Board in managing risk within their area. Such consultancy and support could be provided via bespoke reviews, risk event root cause analysis, workshops, etc.*plan and perform risk reviews throughout the business, with a view to determining if in scope’ areas are fit for purpose, identifying areas of good / bad practice, identifying efficiencies and working towards achieving consistency with the wider Group (where applicable).*support the business in its desire to identify, measure, monitor, manage and report risks across the business.*developing and owning standards, policies, frameworks, processes, approaches and reporting.*providing oversight and challenge of the work completed within the entity risk teams, including reviewing and challenging plans and resourcing profiles and overseeing key decisions taken within the entity.*producing consolidated reports for presentation to Group Board / Board committees.*identifying emerging risks and trends across the Group entities.*maintaining relationship with UK Regulators.*provide consultancy and support Heads of Departments in managing risk within their areas via regular risk reviews, risk event root cause analysis and education and awareness sessions.*you will support the Risk Appetite process, proposing appropriate Early Warning Indicators (or Key Risk Indicators), triggers and limits and reporting mechanisms to the relevant committees and / or Boards.*you will support the stress and scenario testing for the business and input to the wider ORSA process, including production of the annual ORSA report for Board approval.We anticipate that the successful candidate for this exciting new opportunity will have the following skills, knowledge and experience:*strong Data Governance, Data Management and Digital / Customer Journey knowledge.*experience of working in a governance focused role and educated to degree level (or commensurate commercial experience), with a good working knowledge of Risk Management.*previous experience of setting up Data Governance policies or framework would be highly beneficial.*expertise in understanding customer journeys through the business, in particular the convergence of Voice technologies with other newer technologies.*strong influencing and persuasion skills.*ability to multi-task, work under pressure and lead projects.*able to build open relationships and gain consensus with all internal stakeholders. *ability to work independently and proactively, as well as leading a team.*able to multi-task, work under pressure and lead large complex projects.*attention to detail, with an analytical mindset.Should you feel that you have the knowledge and experience to succeed within this exceptional new opportunity for an ambitious Group Data & Digital Risk Manager , then please apply now or contact Ieuan Savage for further information and details.For the purposes of the Conduct Regulations 2003, when advertising permanent vacancies we are acting as an Employment Agency, and when advertising temporary / contract vacancies we are acting as an Employment Business.Finance Sector£60-75,000 per annumCF11 6PS Required skills
