Job Description

Yolk Recruitment is working with a financial services company and is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to join their team. As a key member of the development team, you will be responsible for developing and owning solutions for their propositions.The ideal candidate should have a passion for emerging technologies, but also be able to determine when to use existing tools to achieve the desired outcome.Responsibilities:

  • Expertise in application, data, and infrastructure architecture and design across all systems
  • Experience in business analysis, development, maintenance, and improvement
  • Lead the development of solutions using Microservices architecture in a cloud environment
  • Develop backend services using Python/NodeJS, PostgreSQL/DynamoDB and Serverless
  • Create modern front-end applications using TypeScript/React and design REST APIs
  • Deploy code to production and provide support, ideally on AWS
  • Promote best practices such as automated testing and continuous deployment
  • Participate in agile ceremonies such as retrospectives and sprint planning
  • Collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals to achieve common goals
Requirements:
  • Software development using NodeJS, ReactJS, and NextJS technologies
  • Strong knowledge of version control systems such as Git, SVN, or AWS Code Commit
  • Hands-on development experience with REST, Web services, and API development
  • Strong experience in UI development using React JS/Node JS
