Job Description

Clark James Recruitment are delighted to be working with a Boutique Chartered firm of Financial Advisors based in Cardiff who are seeking an experienced Financial Services Administrator.Our client offers a wide range of Financial Advisory and Investment Services and are experts in the fields of Advisory Investment, Employee Benefits and Personal Financial Planning Services. They utilise state of the art technology and research systems offering a true independent wealth management advisory service for their client’s financial benefit.Working as Financial Services Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the business, supporting the Operations Manager, by providing client sales support and general administration support. Main duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:Providing assistance and support to the Operations Manager in the delivery of all aspects ofgeneral office administration

  • Providing accurate and timely client valuations
  • Providing assistance & support to the Operations Manager in the provision of designated marketing activities
  • Providing assistance and support to the Operations Manager in the provision of Compliance administration activities
  • Providing assistance and support to the Operations Manager in the provision of Employee Benefit administration activities
  • Providing assistance and support to the Operations Manager in the ongoing Health and Safety needs of the office
  • Delivering agreed project activities as designated by the Operations Manager
  • Delivering agreed IT hardware and software systems projects to meet the needs of the business
  • Developing and maintaining internal relationships to help maintain business flow and meet agreed targets
  • Promoting the profile of the business within the profession and wider communities
  • Continuous professional development to meet personal development needs.
  • We are seeking an individual who has a minimum of 1 years’ hands-on proven experienced working in a similar role within a Financial Services/Wealth Management practice, and has a broad knowledge in the industry, including Pensions, Investments, ISA’s and Group Risk/Employee Benefits.You will be computer literate, competent with Microsoft Office and knowledge of IFA back-office systems (preferably Intelligent Office).
