Job Description

  • 23 days annual leave - will be increased to 25 days after three full years of employment

Salary: Up to £26,000 ~ Depending On ExperienceAbout the Company:Our Client is a well-established financial advisor practice who deals with High Net worth clients.They are now looking for an IFA Administrator to join their existing established team.What Your Day to Day Duties Will Include:
  • Must have previous experience working for an Independent Financial Adviser.
  • Good team working and liaison skills to deal effectively with tasks set and provide support for other team members
  • An understanding of FCA regulations and guidelines relating to financial services clients
  • Willingness to continue to develop knowledge of products and related issues through formal and informal learning
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal) that are effective and meet business needs
  • Ability to prioritise and organise own workload
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Accuracy of work and attention to detail Key Responsibilities
  • New business submission and tracking to conclusion
  • Day to day client management, processing any queries which may arise
  • Processing Investment trades, Fund switches and Contribution/Income requests and adjustments
  • Liaising with clients, product providers and other relevant third parties
  • Ensure back-office system is kept up to date including client and provider data
  • Issue Letters of Authority and chase for policy information
  • Knowledge of Xplan (back-office system) would be a benefit
  • Obtaining illustrations and supporting literature
  • Understand and adhere to Company procedures and policies and the requirements of the FCA Standards and Rules.
What is Needed to Be Considered for this Role:
  • Previous experience within an IFA practice is essential
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Self-motivated, with an ability to work and think under own initiative
  • FCA understanding of regulations and products
  • Knowledge of XPlan would be helpful
  • Well organised and IT literate
