Job Description

Job Title: Faculty Liaison Executive Location: CardiffSalary: £25-£30k basic + OTEREF: J12897:WALSector: PublishingOur client are a leading, global academic and professional publisher, publishing more than 1,000 journals and 900 new books each year, as well as services that include archives, data, case studies and video.Our client are a rapidly growing organisation, with over 1,500 employees based in the UK, US, Asia and Australia! They now have an exciting opportunity for graduates to join their team as Faculty Liaison Executives!Package:

Role:
  • Identify, build and maintain relationships with faculty at key institutions and university accounts across your assigned territory via face-to-face meetings, virtual meetings, telephone and email
  • Engage directly with new and existing clients to present and support sales of digital library products
  • Research and provide information on courses at institutions in your territory and report on key trends
  • Provide market intelligence to the sales, editorial and marketing departments on market conditions and competitor activity
  • Present and demo the company products to faculty to maximise exposure and create interest at faculty level
  • Maintain and support existing business e.g. subscription renewals in territory
  • Attend conferences and meetings to ensure knowledge and training is kept up to date
Requirements:
  • Educated to degree level
  • Possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Organised, with the ability to prioritise workload
  • Team player, with the ability to work independently
