Job Description

Our local authority client, based near Cardiff is looking for environmental health officers to join their team on a temporary ongoing basis.The successful candidates must possess a full professional qualification and have experience working within a similar setting and ideally have experience with communicable diseases and contact tracing.You will be responsible for:

  • Taking active steps to resolve complaints of nuisance from pollution sources including noise, atmospheric pollution, waste deposition and drainage etc.
  • Undertaking appropriate interventions including inspections, investigations, surveys and enforcement action, together with the preparation, serving and enforcement of Statutory Notices.
  • Supporting contact tracing
