Job Description

Job Profile for Commercial Refrigeration - Cardiff - SEL253696Refrigeration Service Engineer required. Our client is a specialist refrigeration and commercial catering company with a nationwide coverage who are looking to expand their service team. They require 2, Commercial Refrigeration Engineers will be expectedcover our clients sites across Cardiff. These areas will be split between 2 engineers (you will be designated a localised patch, depending where youre closest to.The refrigeration engineer will be performing planned and reactive service works and repair on small to medium commercial refrigeration equipment such as refrigeration cabinets, cold rooms, ice machines, cellar cooling, and bottle coolers. Customers andsites are within the commercial catering sector, which can include Pubs, clubs, Restaurants, Hotels and schoolsIt is expected that the Refrigeration Service Engineer will have proven experience within the refrigeration industry on small to medium sized commercial refrigeration units.It is also expected that the Refrigeration Engineer will hold recognised qualifications and certifications such as an NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or the City & Guilds equivalent as well as F-Gas or Safe Handling of Refrigerants.Commercial Refrigeration - Cardiff Position Overview

  • Reactive service and maintenance of small to medium commercial refrigeration systems for customers within the retail sector.

Commercial Refrigeration - Cardiff Position Requirements
  • Proven refrigeration service and maintenance experience on small to medium commercial refrigeration systems
  • Experience working on refrigeration cabinets, cold rooms, ice machines, cellar cooling, and bottle coolers.
  • NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds equivalent in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
  • F-Gas 2079 - Cat1
  • Based within commutable distance to patch
  • Full UK Driving license
Commercial Refrigeration - Cardiff Position Remuneration
  • £34,000 basic salary
  • Door to Door travel paid
  • Annual bonus (2.5% of salary)
  • Overtime
  • Company Van
  • 32 days annual leave
  • Call out rota circa 1 in 4 weeks (£100 standby fee, 1.5x for all on call overtime)
  • 5x rates for Saturdays, 2x rates for Sundays and bank holidays
