Job Description

Commercial Mortgage Case Manager - Specialist Finance Team Cardiff Up to £35,000Our client is a highly personable, reputable, and award-winning Mortgage & Protection Brokerage that specialises in property finance for Residential, Commercial & Specialist Finance. As the industry changes, they have kept abreast of technological advanceswhilst maintaining the down-to-earth "Human" element of giving Mortgage Advice to their clients. The key to their success is that they continuously go above and beyond to nurture their people allowing them to thrive in a fun, social and happy environment.As Commercial Case Manager, you will be responsible for providing essential administration and support to busy Advisers and Directors. The role will be extremely varied, and you will work on all elements of the application process. It presents a fantasticopportunity for someone with prior experience who is open to adapt, learn and progress.The role:

  • Supporting the Commercial Team including the Commercial Director and advisers.
  • Key new enquiries onto the CRM system (KEY) ensuring data is correct, all documents are in the corresponding One Drive file and the required paperwork has been completed.
  • Complete RFT checklist to ensure we are fully compliant and commission dates are relevant for cash flow into the business
  • Missing documents from the case should be reported to the adviser and you should assist them to rectify any required information
  • Post-sales support - assisting with applications through to exchange and completion, ensuring notes are up to date on file, liaising with the lenders, solicitors and all parties as often as needed and updating the client accordingly, as well as checkingoffers and sending out etc.
  • Screening cases onto Key so figures are accurate
  • Hold weekly pipeline meetings with advisers
  • Unpaid fees are to be updated on a weekly basis
  • Ensure knowledge and understanding in areas of regulation and compliance is maintained as required. For example - complaints handling, Money Laundering & Financial Crime prevention, Data Protection, Breaches, and Financial Promotions
  • Other ad hoc tasks as required from the business, this could include managing an event or team diary
The person:
  • A minimum of 12 months experience within a similar position (Specialist finance knowledge is preferred)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Sociable, a can-do attitude and a team player
  • Attention to detail
