BI, Analytics & Data Science Architect - Domain Architect - Remote WorkA key client of ours are currently looking for a BI, Analytics and Data Science Domain Architect to work within their growing Architecture practice. The domain architects operate within the CTO team taking primary responsibility for the development of the current technology landscapes, target architectures and roadmaps which feed into IT Strategy and propel technology delivery with clarity on the future.The domain architects will take responsibility for setting out the principles, guardrails, patterns and building blocks for use by solutions architects and delivery teams; and assuring via governance and other stakeholder management conformant to strategy and roadmaps, whilst remaining pragmatic.The technology domain architect will provide a holistic view and ownership of the data harnessing and supporting technologies, building consensus, support and agreement for the future direction. This requires working with senior leaders, engineering and delivery teams including solutions architects, and other domain architects to ensure cohesive roadmap alignment, optimal use of enterprise assets and well considered purchasing decisions.Requirements / Technologies* Excellent communicator, verbally and written.* Solving complex problems and exciting challenges* You will work with many technologies across all aspects of IT, but our core data tech includes* Wherescape* Informatica* Apache NiFi* GCP Data Platform: Cloud Functions, DataFlow, Cloud Composer, BigQuery* GCP Analytical/Decision Platform: Kubeflow MLOps, Postgres* Looker* Teradata* SAS* Microstrategy* BigID* Collibra* You will be expected to stay current in the technology domain through research / PoCs* You will champion and oversee the design and implementation of best practices* You will identify and promote innovative ways of using technology to maximise system benefitResponsibilities* To act as a lead in the development of the strategic data architecture and define system evolution plans* To work in tandem with the business to gather and understand the key business strategies that are both in place and emerging, to ensure the target architecture and technical roadmap are effectively aligned to the businesss current and future needs* Producing documentation of a high-quality and to a detailed level. Also ensuring all Decision Points, Building Blocks, Design Principles, Design Rationale, Enterprise Roadmaps and all interdependencies are understood, documented and communicated across IT, where appropriate* Acting as a point of reference within the team to provide knowledge and technical expertise, alongside the solutions architects* Provide consultancy services to internal customers by offering strategic guidance, and ensuring architecture principles and design standards are met.* Maintain strong links to our International operations, and other federated technology teams* Contribute to the architecture repository using the accepted architecture standard modelling tools and language
