5 months contract until Dec 2022 initially with the option to extendHybrid role - 1-2 days month in Cardiff office with the rest remote.£525-£625 p/day Inside IR35As an Application Analyst you will provide the conceptual skills to create and validate effective solution designs in the context of our financial clients application ecosystem.Youll support Product Owners in providing requirement specifications and you translate them into logical/functional solution designs, working closely with our System Analysts and External Service Partners.What we need:Were looking for someone to help build a shared component that will help our financial services client turn business transactions into financial transactions.The old systems are PL/SQL and Cobol based so being able to read Cobol and extract logic from it will really help for this project.We need someone whos confident speaking to technical people and someone who can create user stories and analyse UML decision tables (you dont need to be an expert in UML).A big part of this role will depend on your experience in representing logic. You will be analysing user stories and Entity Relationship diagrams (ERDs) so a strong background in graphical representations that depict relationships among people, objects,places, concepts or events within an IT system would be a huge plus.If this sounds like you please get apply now for more details, thanks!
