This local family run business provides high standards of Lawn Maintenance and Improvements to desirable high-end domestic homes and businesses local to their area. Based between Ipswich and Colchester, they pride themselves on being a leader in soft landscaping, ground maintenance and lawn care services to both residential and commercial clients.The role offered is for a Lawn Treatment /Grounds Maintenance Operative providing clients with seasonal lawn treatments and renovation works throughout the year. They apply weed control through use of a knapsack and apply lawn feed through use of a spreader. Additional services of scarifying, aeration and top dressing of lawns is also undertaken.At certain times of year the successful candidate would be required to be part of the trained horticultural led team, covering grounds maintenance, soft landscaping duties using a wide range of machinery and equipment. The work will be in prestigious domestic locations where good horticultural practice, attention to detail and high client expectations will be the norm.Key Skills:The successful candidate should be physically fit and able to carry weighted equipment, trustworthy, reliable and prepared to work outdoors in all weathers.Punctuality is important as is regular communication with the office and able to use their initiative and personality whilst working alone on clients properties.Experience of this work along with references will be required. Good horticultural knowledge and lawn treatment experience along with a full, clean UK driving licence is essential for this position. PA 1 and PA 6 spraying licence is also essential.Salary will be PAYE, paid monthly by bank transfer.
