Job Description

Syme Drummond are delighted to be working with a much loved and well known manufacturing organisation where people are at the heart of what they do. Based in Falkirk with on site parking and good public transport links, this role will require you to be basedon site 5 days a week with an early finish on a Friday!If you are currently working as an HR Administrator or equivalent level and are now looking for your next role that will offer you great career development opportunities, then read on! This role will be working within a great team with a fantastic culture.You will be encouraged to use your initiative and to really seek out smarter ways of working. You will gain exposure to the full HR generalist remit through providing a first point of contact HR administration service.This is a full-on HR admin role so you would need to be proactive and be able to use initiative. The hours of work would be 8am -4:30pm Mon to Thurs, 8-12:30pm on a Friday. They offer a competitive salary with great benefits.Candidates must be able to demonstrate the following experience:

  • Experience in a similar position within a fast-paced and changeable HR function
  • Good IT skills with the ability to use all Microsoft packages, including Word, Excel and Outlook, and knowledge of Visio would be great
  • An understanding of data and information sensitivity and confidentiality
  • An excellent eye for detail and not afraid to challenge the status quo
  • It is essential you have previous experience of working with a fully integrated payroll, personnel, and time and attendance system
  • Confident, with good relationship building skills, especially as you will be responsible for liaising with many stakeholders
  • A background in Human Resources and support function work including the following elements: Recruitment, Employee Development, Employee relations and HR systems.
