Job Description

UX DesignerJunior - Mid Level - Min 2yrs experienceLocation:Camden, London, UKRole: Full-time - HybridSalary: Up to £55,000(depending on experience & proven skills)I am looking for a talented UX Designer to join a fantastic Design department, helping to create engaging user journeys and digital designs. Youd get stuck in on a variety of exciting client projects, as well as helping growth and lead the Design team and manage design processes. This really is a great opportunity to work across a wide range of world-famous mobile apps, SaaS and e-commerce projects, combining your hands-on design skills with managerial and strategic aspects of growing and managing a team & projects.

  • Create impactful and highly engaging user journeys and wireframes
  • Help to establish new standards for UX design practices, user testing and CRO analysis
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously towards successful completion, working harmoniously alongside other designers, front-end developers, project owners, and clients.
  • Collaborate with team and clients on interface & layout design across desktop and mobile, user experience optimisation, user testing, and more.
  • Champion accountability to goals and deadlines across team, proactively communicating project status through reports, meetings, and ad hoc communications.
  • Work with business co-founders to define project scopes and be involved in key project pitches.
  • Lead and manage the design teams and processes to help establish Fortnight as a world-famous design studio.
Requirements
  • Good knowledge and proficiency of Sketch, Figma, Adobe Suite, and other industry-standard design management tools.
  • Good knowledge of prototyping tools and user testing methodologies
  • Good knowledge of UX best practices, user research tools, site mapping etc.
  • Good knowledge of Mobile apps and mobile app interfaces
  • Exceptional communication/interpersonal skills.
  • Good all-round technical knowledge
  • Good understanding of commercial implications of any design & development work
  • Perfectly organised and timely, with a problem-solving attitude.
  • Very proactive and self-sufficient
  • Working knowledge of front-end development languages and tools, mainly HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • You have experience managing a team, defining design processes and communicating directly with key stakeholders.
  • Experience in marketing activities such as social media postings, newsletters, etc.
