Finance Business PartnerOne of our clients is currently looking for Finance Business Partner to join them for a 6 month Fixed Term Contract paying £55,500 - £59,700 per annum, adjusted to the length of the assignment. The base location for the post is in Camden, London. In line with current restrictions the post will involve remote working until we are able to return to the office safely. Role Description As a Finance Business Partner you will partner will senior budget holders and operational leaders to provide them with expertise and financial management services. Our client are a public sector blue light service that has operations across the country. They work closely with local government bodies and other public sector bodies to ensure safety and assurance is provided in relation to travel and movement across the country. What will you doThe key responsibilities and deliverables of the Finance Business Partner are:• You will be responsible for delivering periodic management accounts and budgets across a range of projects and operational functions within the organisation• You will develop a medium term financial plan and annual budgetary plans, aiming to ensure accurate support is provided and effective savings can be identified• You will assist in the development of business cases, ensuring that these are effectively delivered in line with business objectives• You will perform value added analysis on various projects to allow for better prioritisation • You will work with colleagues to improve the management information available and enable effective reporting capability What are we looking forThe key skills, experience and qualifications to perform this post effectively are:• Fully qualified member of either ACCA, CIPFA, ICAEW, ICAI, ICAS or CIMA• Extensive experience in senior post within a finance function • Strong analytical and strategic skills • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey messages to a variety of audiences through to board level• An understanding of central government or public sector financial management frameworksWhat nextIf you would like to be considered for this position please send in your details and we will be in touch with you shortly.
