Theatre SCRUB Practitioner / Newly Qualified ODP (Band 5)University College Hospital is a major Teaching Hospital and Research Centre with state of the art facilities. Our operating theatre is a busy and dynamic environment setting the benchmark for clinical excellence.We have a total of 19 operating rooms which cover different specialities ranging from General surgery, Trauma and orthopaedics, Bariatrics and upper GI surgery, Colorectal, Gynaecology, Urology, Oncology, Paediatrics, Maxilo Facial, ENT, Vascular and Plastic/ Breast surgery.Our new surgery and cancer facility will open in 2020 which will offer further career opportunities such as in the field of proton beam therapy.Working as a Theatre SCRUB Practitioner you will be required to function effectively as a member of the peri-operative team to ensure the provision and development of an efficient and high quality surgical service.
