These are what make us such a great team, working together as one to achieve our vision.The roleWe have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join us in the position ofTenancy Intervention Officer. Salary: £31,700 per annumLocation: Atelier House,Camden, London - Hybrid working (2 days in office and 3 days at home)Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing intensive support to residents to address barriers to tenancy sustainment.
  • Providing a high quality, professional intervention and support service to vulnerable and older tenants, or tenants with complex needs.
  • Working with Community Safety Officers and Tenancy and Leasehold Managers to support residents requiring further intervention following Safeguarding and/or Anti-Social Behaviour investigations.
  • Facilitating and attending internal and external multi-agency case conferences and problem-solving groups, coordinating action plans and reviews to support residents.
  • Supporting tenants in understanding their responsibilities under their tenancy agreement and obligations.
  • Identifying and liaising with partners and organisations in the local area that families can be referred to for support.
  • Undertaking risk and welfare assessments to identify needs, develop action plans and monitor resident progress against those plans.
What you will need to succeedWe are looking for someone who believes in working together as part of a team, who shares our values and who is positive and friendly.The successful candidate will have:
  • At least 2 years experience in a similar position
  • Experience of managing a caseload; working to and achieving targets
  • Experience of providing face to face support for customers with multiple economic and social needs leading chaotic lives; including young people, lone parents, people involved with the police or the criminal justice system and those with health conditions.
  • Experience of utilising Safeguarding legislation ie: the Care Act 2014
  • Experience of working with residents and families with vulnerabilities such as mental health or complex needs
  • Relevant Safeguarding qualifications or demonstrated extensive experience
  • Excellent verbal communication skills including assertiveness, listening, negotiating and influencing skills
  • Experience of conducting home visits and lone working risk assessments
