Job Description

You will have great organisational skills and a proven track record of running successful businesses and teams, leading your team with confidence, enthusiasm, and professionalism.Key Responsibilities

  • Thrive on taking full ownership and responsibility for the salon business
  • Build great relationships with your team and clients
  • Ensure all beauty treatments meet only the highest of quality standards
  • Drive sales revenue via ensuring all staff are always working to their full potential
  • Proactively generate income through collaborating with local businesses
  • Oversee and run the daily salon operations
  • Hire and train new team members, as needed
  • Organise your teams’ shifts, considering peak times and seasonality
  • Arrange for regular maintenance services for all equipment
  • Apply hygiene practices across all beauty stations
  • Maintain team records, including salaries and working schedules
  • Develop and implement strong marketing calendars for all digital platforms - Social, Website, app, online shop
  • Share best practice and manage under performance in a timely manner
  • Develop and implement a strong social media calendar
  • Keep updated records of costs and revenues (e.g. daily, monthly, and quarterly)
  • Continue to deliver exceptional customer service and develop a strong marketing calendar to attract and retain new customers
  • Any other jobs around the iiaa that may be deemed necessary
    • Desired Skills and Experience
  • You must be NVQ Level 3 Beauty certified or similar
  • Proven work experience as a Beauty Salon Manager or similar role
  • Good knowledge of beauty treatments and products (e.g. for skin care)
  • Basic bookkeeping knowledge (P&L, Till Processes, Banking, Stock Management)
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to handle customers’ requests and complaints with confidence and grace
  • Successfully drive and engage the team to achieve KPI’s and deliver on Salon targets
  • Additional certification in Beauty Therapy or Cosmetology is a plus
  • An ambitious and driven Salon Manager with a passion for all things skin and beauty is a must!

  • You should be a confident delegator with ability to perform under pressure and use your initiative in difficult situations involving staff or customers
