Reconciliation always brings a springtime to the soul. Brother Roger.Our client is an established customer services business that is recruiting for a Revenue Reconciliations Accountant. The ideal candidate will be currently studying towards their accounting qualification or part qualified with experience in revenue accounting.Duties will include: Uploading all bank accounts into Oracle Financials and run Auto Reconciliation process Create list of unreconciled items and distribute to AP, AR, Property Finance and the members of the Revenue Team Preparing and uploading of journals Weekly reconciliation of the banks accounts Assist with resolving or escalate issues identified through the reconciliations Setting up new bank accounts and petty cash facilities Reconciling the Petty Cash and Cash in Transit accounts Weekly processing of refunds Balance sheet reconciliations Attend weekly meetings with other departments to discuss outstanding issues on the log Processing all intercompany transactions and inter accounts transaction on a daily basis Calculation of the accrual for revenue which have not been processed Perform financial planning, analysis and reporting activities including the review of the Variance Tracker Responding to queries raised by the business in respect of the financial results Provide budgets and forecasts information to Stakeholders Liaise with both external and internal auditors Assist in financial audits and implement audit recommendations Ad hoc projects Develop and maintain all necessary manuals associated with accounting processes and controls Continuous improvements in the processes for reporting revenues Provide training when required Processing Chaps and Bacs Set up Direct debits To be considered for this role you will require the following attributes: Good knowledge and understanding of accounting processes Excellent communication skills Good data manipulation, analytical and interrogation skills Part qualified accountant with experience in revenue accounting (preferred) Ability to prioritise, work under pressure and deliver to agreed deadlines Excellent attention to detailYou are required to be eligible to work in the UK full time without restriction.
