The services offered through Tes.com play a critical role in helping teachers and school leaders deal with the challenges of providing high quality education to millions of children across the globe.Role overview:The Pricing Manager will be accountable for the pricing strategy across the Tes product portfolio. You will play an integral role in defining our pricing structure from the point of product conception, through to implementation and ongoing enhancement. You will ensure that the relevant teams have appropriate pricing structures, actively review pricing performance and recommend continuous pricing process improvement. You will be the pricing expert in pricing analytics, techniques and methodologies.Key role responsibilities:

  • Partner with CPO in defining the overall pricing strategy.
  • Analyse market dynamics, pricing trends, market opportunities, operating and sales margins in order to develop the pricing strategy.
  • Assist the product teams to determine Net Price of products in the respective of new and existing products.
  • Develop the pricing strategy in support of the migration from old product versions to the new, specifically to remove the legacy of historic product sets and enhance a value-based pricing structure and mindset across the business.
  • Review monthly figures to detect variances in pricing performance in relation to price targets within the sales teams.
  • Set and lead action plans to drive price performance according to targets, preparing analysis for the Chief Revenue Officer and the Senior Management Team.
  • Work with Sales Leaders to ensure our salespeople are trained and equipped with the knowledge of our pricing structure & pricing tools.
  • Drive efforts to implement price management discipline, targets and process through close coordination with Customer Operations, Sales, Product, and Marketing.
  • Monitor the performance of the segment discounting and buying behaviour to inform the future product and services strategy.
  • Support pricing developments in terms of methodology and consistency
  • Partner with key stakeholders to identify opportunities, new products, services and performance of existing products/services.
  • Education and experience requirements:
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
  • Significant experience in a Pricing role.
  • Significant experience in a management position.
  • Significant experience and Knowledge of recurring revenue, and subscription-based pricing models.
  • An ability to communicate at all levels with strong stakeholder management capability.
  • A strong understanding of pricing Software (SaaS) products.
