Presales Solutions Architect (remote)Reports toPre-Sales LeadRoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work with customers and internal stakeholders to agree functional and non-functional requirements, develop corresponding solutions that leverages our client and partner capabilities, and advise on the effort, technical andcommercial implications of your designs.The role requires a broad range of knowledge spanning Applications, Data, Technology, Security, Service and Commercial influences, to help develop integrated solutions and influence the customers technology strategy.ResponsibilitiesGathering and analysing business requirements from large and complex client environments and undertaking the required research to identify and create thorough, accurate solution proposals based on client requirements.Work with Enterprise Architects, Solution Architects, Technical Architects and Account teams to ensure the solutions being proposed are both fit for purpose and meets the core business needs.Establish strong and effective relationships with the Commercial, Business Development, Account Management and Product teams, enabling pre-sales activities to be co-ordinated in the presence of evolving business requirements.Support new business development including developing proposals, working on bids and operating as the lead deal architect when required.Contributing to pre-sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed.Skills and Experiences Significant experience of developing solutions based on the Microsoft Azure platform and integrating other products and cloud services within these solutions.Comfortable with combining disparate solution areas to create an integrated solution spanning technical and non-technical (e.g., commercial) domains.Experience of undertaking pre-sales solution development, including creating proposals and technically leading on bids and tenders.Able to resolve ambiguity pertaining to functional and non-functional requirements and conflicting options as part of developing a solution..Understands marketplace trends for products and innovation, and how to intercept these developments to add additional value and provide competitive differentiation.Experience of enacting and undertaking pre-sales governance and assurance activities.PackageCirca £65,000 - £80,000Full corporate benefitsFully Remote
