Job Description

A fantastic opportunity is now available for a passionate and organised professional to join The Bloomsbury, as our People & Culture Manager.This would be an excellent opportunity for a HR professional ready to take the first step in their managerial career.This role will be responsible for all aspects of the People & Culture function and will be instrumental in driving employee wellbeing and engagement.The ideal candidate will have good knowledge and experience in HR and in a similar role, will be a whiz at multitasking, whilst being an organised, competent and resourceful individual with a passion for Human Resources.The ideal candidate must have exceptionally strong communication, analytical, interpersonal and organizational skills with a strategic mindset.

  • Overseeing recruitment, selection and employee onboarding
  • Managing a performance management system/process
  • Ensuring the companys procedures comply with local employment laws
  • Handling all aspects of employee relations
  • Setting and reviewing pay structures and employee perks and benefits
  • Managing employee sick leave, holiday and personal time off
  • Implementing appropriate career pathing and promotion planning
  • Managing payroll weekly and monthly payroll ensuring labour costs are in line with budget
  • Manage day-to-day HR function in an effective and efficient manner
  • Supporting management in all in all performance and succession planning
