Our well-known London based law firm client is seeking a Document Production Specialist to join them on a permanent, part time basis. This role will involve working a 16-hour week between the hours of 9:30-1:30 Monday to Friday. The main focus of the rolewill be to provide a seamless document production service (creating, editing and manipulating legal documents) and other work pieces for attorneys throughout the Firm.Core duties will include but are not limited to creating and revising legal documents to Firms specifications using the Firms latest software and version of MS Office, producing financial statements, flow charts, presentations, letters and other documents,marking for cross references, Table of Contents, Table of Authorities, defined terms, and indexing, scanning and formatting documents; converting documents to/from different software packages, transcribing tapes, producing mail merge documents, creating closingsets, CD labels and fillable-pdf forms, and preparing document comparisons. Duties will also include troubleshooting of documents where needed, proofreading work for quality and correct formatting, communicating with the Secretarial Manager regarding workflowand other issues, maintaining an accurate diary log of all work performed, supporting and assisting the secretarial department as required.Candidates must have prior experience working within Word Processing/Document Production function within a law firm environment, this is because knowledge of legal industry software packages is essential. Role paying up to £42,000 FTE plus superb employeebenefits.
