Job Description

Management AccountantMultisite Healthcare Provider, Central London£35,000 + bonus & benefitsThe CompanyA Management Accountant is sought by this Joint venture niche brand-name business, part of a global multi-site group. It has built an enviable reputation for excellence and cutting-edge healthcare-technology through the provision of niche, high-quality servicesto healthcare public service providers and to private clients/customers, via multi-site clinics and surgeries throughout the UK. Due to continued rapid growth, a new role for a Management Accountant has arisen to support the Finance Manager & CFO, providingfinancial support to joint venture partners, service managers and budget holders.Key Responsibilities of the Management Accountant

  • Preparing monthly multi-site management accounts for multiple joint venture companies
  • Attending monthly P&L review meetings and providing support and analysis
  • Providing analysis on key costs and preparing performance reports in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Continually review accounting processes with a view to maintaining best in class performance
  • Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and continuously develop financial controls necessary to safeguard the assets of the business and advise senior stakeholders accordingly
  • Accounting for fixed assets including additions, disposals and depreciation charges
  • Providing support in relation to statutory filings and financial statements preparation
Skills & Attributes of the Management Accountant
  • AAT qualified or part qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA (or equivalent)
  • Experience of management accounts preparation (ideally from a multi-site environment)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • High level of drive and enthusiasm
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Excellent team-working, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and provide high quality output to tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills - ability to focus on the key issues
  • Confidence to lead meetings with key stakeholders (both financial and non-financial)
