These are what make us such a great team, working together as one to achieve our vision.The roleWe have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join us in the position of Income Officer (Homeowners and Market Rent) in London. Your responsibilities willinclude:

  • To ensure the efficient and effective collection of service charges for shared ownership and leasehold
  • properties, as well as collection of assured shorthold and shared ownership rents.
  • Responsible for the collection of housing related debt (current and former) as directed by the Income
  • Manager in line with all internal policies, procedures and process maps and legislation.
  • To provide an excellent customer focused service for One Housings shared owners, leaseholders
  • and market rented tenants.
  • To provide residents with welfare benefits advice where required and identify arrears cases where
  • customers need additional support and liaise with the relevant sections/agencies to ensure support is
  • obtained.
  • To take firm but fair action on any resident who falls into arrears, including any legal procedures and
  • forfeiture of the property where necessary.
  • To manage and monitor residents accounts, to take action where necessary and retain a central
  • record of all communications with the residents.
  • To be responsible for providing accurate information to homeowners, tenants, solicitors, legal
  • representatives and mortgage lenders, in relation to the role.
  • To pro-actively build excellent relationships with residents, customers and any internal or external
  • stakeholders to ensure income is maximised.
  • To meet all targets set and any relevant corporate objectives.
  • To provide a customer service that deals with any queries promptly, clearly and accurately in a
  • knowledgeable and professional way that resolves disputes and contributes positively to thecustomer experience.
