UK NEQAS is recognised throughout Europe and beyond as a major contributor to quality assurance in clinical diagnostic parasitology.Job SummaryA vacancy exists for a parasitologist to provide technical charge of NEQAS Parasitology for the UK National External Quality Assessment Service (UK NEQAS). The post holder will be responsible for ensuring specimens for EQA are prepared and quality controlled according to schedule; responsible for procedures involved in report production and responding to customer queries/feedback; responsible for implementing a Quality Management System compliant with ISO 17043:2010.Applicants are invited from individuals who have a Masters in Clinical Parasitology or equivalent.
