Job Description

Are you a recent University Graduate looking to kick-start your office career in educationAre you looking for an exciting and varied role where no day is the same This could be the role for youA leading independent school that is based in North London is seeking a Graduate Team Coordinator to work as part of their office team. This is an extremely varied role where you will be an active part of the smooth running of day-to-day operations.Our clients are looking for an organised, enthusiastic, and motivated individual who has excellent interpersonal skills to join their dynamic team.This exciting opportunity that will give you the chance to develop and learn in various areas of the school.What you will be doing as the Team Coordinator:

  • General Administration - coordinating the schools diary and answering phone calls and email - dealing with queries when necessary.
  • Communication on behalf of the Headteacher - creating parent emails, assisting the Headteacher/Headteachers PA when needed, highlighting any issues from parents.
  • Maintaining and Nurturing Business relationships - developing a good relationship with members of the schools community.
  • Booking and arranging events - for visiting speakers, planning annual/termly events when requested.
  • Being responsible for overseeing orders and finance - As part of the authorisation process, stamping and signing invoices, food ordering, buying classroom supplies kitchen equipment etc.
  • Health and safety checks/site and premises maintenance - liaising with maintenance companies and arranging call-out when needed.
Our client is looking for an individual with a genuine interest in education who has excellent attention to detail, the ability to prioritise workload and brilliant interpersonal skills. You will also need to be confident with Microsoft Packages - Word,Excel, and Outlook.This is an office-based role, working from 9:00am-6:00pm paying £25,000.(Whilst we would love to get back to candidates individually on the status of their application, please not we are only able to respond to successful candidates due to the large number of applications we receive for each role).
