Job Title: Global Senior Account Director (Healthcare) Opening date of posting: 04/08/2020Closing date of posting: 01/09/2020Salary range: £75,000 - £85,000Job summary:This position is based in London, UK time zone. Assumes the leadership role, internally and externally, for a group of accounts or a large/complex single account. Effectively manages clients and their brands developing and recommending strategies and tactics, executing and evaluating account activities. Identifying and developing new business opportunities. Accountable for all decision-making on specific account and brand issues. Responsible for the growth and development of their direct reports and/or mentoring of team members. Acts as a role model, subject matter expert (SME) whereas they become a point of reference both internally or externally. Leads teams and projects with TWW Group (Tank London), UK and TANK Headquarters in Montreal, Canada based teams.Key responsibilities:Client Management:Viewed as a credible partner by clients and their cross-functional team members and adds value in client team meetings. Is responsible for the day to day client agency relationship. Applies senior-level experience and knowledge to grow and secure the clients’ business. Takes a leadership role in the development of strategic plans, marketing plans and brand/business reviews, including challenging the client strategically. Serves as the external and internal brand ambassador, earns client trust and confidence. Advises on category and industry trends and the regulatory environment. Directs the execution of account plans and activities, within designated timelines and established budgets.Business Management Leadership:Manages the billing while overseeing the budgeting, planning and tracking of business activities to ensure profitability on clients. Commits to continuous improvement of company policies and processes required to support business growth. Responsible for revenue phasing/forecasting. Anticipates issues and implements solutions accordingly for all brands.Account Team Leadership:Provides clear direction, defines priorities for projects and teams. Recognizes and empowers their team to help them get the work done. Demonstrates emotional intelligence and manages conflicts when it occurs. Challenges the status quo to find new and better ways to work; inspires and generates new ideas from their team. Honours their own commitments/promises, and inspires commitment and loyalty in others.Business Development:With a focus on growing the agency’s business, develops new business opportunities within current client base.Key Internal Leader and Partner: Monitors the performance of projects and programs, serving as the ultimate decision-maker across all departments. Manages processes through internal teams, clients and suppliers. Ensures that client mandates are successfully carried out. Provides clear and timely information to any internal resources involved in projects. Works in partnership with the creative, production and administrative teams. Facilitates when necessary mutually beneficial resolutions to internal project challenges within and across various Tank teams.Personal Leadership and Accountability: Committed to excellence, personal and professional growth, and continually expanding knowledge.
