Job Description

Finance Systems AdministratorLocation:Camden, London (Currently working from home)Salary: £44-55,000 per annumContract: Full time, PermanentHours: 35 hours, Monday – FridayThe Finance Systems Officer will help support, manage, and add value to the financial systems that the organisation uses to support its finance department, and will support the current change programme (One Future). The Finance Systems Team are the central finance systems control linking suppliers, the IT team, and the finance team.Reporting to budget holders is complex, with a mixture of standard and bespoke reports required. Various other reports are required to support corporate analysis and reporting to the Executive Team, Group Board and other committees, as well as external stakeholders.The Finance Business Partner team works closely with the Management Accounting team, and supports budget holders across the group, helping them to interpret their monthly management accounts and supporting them with budget setting, quarterly forecasting and strategic decision making. The Finance Business Partner team also assists and supports the production of the year end statutory accounts for all group companies and the consolidated accounts.Duties

  • Manage the day to day delivery of financial systems which include SunSystems, Compleat, Proactis, Infor Q&A, PA Collect, etc. and develop a strong working partnership with the IT department
  • Have ownership and maintenance of finance system integrity, controls, and security
  • Oversee financial reporting systems to ensure these provide complete, accurate and timely data
  • Ensure appropriate maintenance of Finance systems for any changes to master and reference data
  • Ensure all management accounts reporting and Finance Business Partner reports generated from financial systems are updated, reconciled, and maintained
  • Create new system generated reports as required
  • Work with Finance and wider business stakeholders to understand the end to end business and finance processes pertinent to the finance systems estate
  • Provide a central point of expertise with regards to financial systems, with full knowledge of the finance data processes, data architecture and data flows

    • About you
  • Experience and working knowledge of Sun systems is required
  • Purchase to pay system experience
  • Ideally you will be a qualified accountant, but this is not necessary
  • You must be diplomatic and a personable character
