Events CoordinatorProfessional Representative BodyHybrid Working - at least 2 Days Office Based Central London, 1-3 Days Home BasedStarting Salary: £28,000-£29,000 (depending on skills and experience) Plus a benefit allowance of £1,300 per annum - Up to 31 Days Holiday, Up to 12% employers pension contribution, Enhanced maternity and paternity pay, Life cover, and moreFull Time, Permanent roleOur client a leading professional representative body with 17,000 individual members in England and Wales is currently recruiting for an Events CoordinatorThe Role of Events CoordinatorTo implement the processes pertinent to the large scales events and training courses assigned by the Senior Training and Events Coordinator.To ensure coordination of own events and training courses is effective.To ensure that the operational delivery is efficient.The role has responsibility for delivering, through excellent coordination, the events and training courses which form part of the departments portfolio.As one of the two Training & Events Coordinator, working in a team of 4 Training & Events staff, the coordinator will be responsible for the logistics pertaining to projects allocated to him/her.These courses and events are in excess of 100 per year, being relatively short in nature, requiring careful attention to detail, excellent communications (often with very senior trainers and barrister delegates)and the ability to prioritise and adapt.Person SpecificationGraduate level or equivalent work experienceEvent coordination experience: conferences; seminars; and round-table meetingsExperience of preparation of letters and reportsAbility to develop strong relationships with professional audiencesProven administration skills in any particular areaUnderstand project management principles in any particular areaIT literate, to include: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and DatabasesStrong command of English grammarExperience of financial controls and budgets, in any particular areaTraining and event coordination processEffective communication skills: written and oralWorks effectively on own initiativeExtremely careful attention to detailWillingness to learn and apply new IT skillsMulti-taskingAbility to adapt during change in a fast-paced environment and teamEffective team working skillsTo apply for this role Events Coordinator please send your CVDue to the volume of applications we are only able to contact successful applicants.
