Full Time Permanent Role: 35 hours per week, 8am to 4pm Monday to FridayChalk Farm Housing Group (CFHG) is a long-established Tenant Management Organisation responsible for the management and maintenance of 205 tenanted and 68 leasehold properties in 8 residential blocks on the Ferdinand Estate in Chalk Farm, London NW1 on behalfof Camden Council. We work from a local Estate-based office near to Camden Market.We are looking for a flexible and conscientious Caretaker who takes pride in their work and has demonstrable experience of maintaining residential blocks and Estates to a high standard of cleanliness both internally and externally.Your tasks will include mopping, sweeping, litter picking, cleaning bin chambers and lifts, clearing blockages in refuse chutes, rotating bins, removal of leaves, weeds, moss and bulk refuse, dusting and cleaning communal windows.You will be responsible for the cleanliness of designated blocks and parts of the Estate and our expectation is that these will be maintained at a consistently high standard.You will also be responsible for carrying out daily health and safety checks to the communal areas and taking appropriate action as well as carrying out minor maintenance tasks such as clearing blockages, changing communal lamps and starters and respondingto emergencies.Above all you will have excellent customer service and communication skills as you will be dealing with residents on a daily basis. You must be able to follow a rota but also be flexible in your approach, using your own initiative where required.The closing date for applications is Midnight on Sunday 10 October 2021.
