The English dept is a strong department and delivers a rich and interesting curriculum focussing on a range of literature including The Tempest, The Breadwinner, Of Mice and Men, A View from the Bridge, as well Romeo and Juliet to name a few. Homework is set on a weekly basis, KS3 is set once a week for English and extends up to 4 hours across English language and English literatureat KS4.THE SUCCESSFUL ENGLISH TEACHER WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:Hold QTSEligibility to work in the UKBe able to provide professional references for the last 2 yearsProven ability to work as part of a team and to develop and maintain positive relationships with all staffA full enhanced DBS on the online update serviceSalary paid to scale - teachers pay scale MPS or UPS1 dependent on experienceDo you have a friend who is a teacher looking for work Recommend them to us and you could earn £150 from our Refer a Friendscheme.PROSPERO TEACHING IS ABLE TO OFFER THE SUCCESSFUL ENGLISH TEACHER:
