Job Description

A leading online gaming business is looking for a Hybrid Working Digital Marketing Manager to join its Brand and Communications team helping to build and deliver the global marketing strategy. Along with a salary of up to £65,000 per annum, you will alsoreceive a range of benefits including 24 days annual leave (plus additional days after 3 years’ service), hybrid working, an annual bonus, free private healthcare, life insurance, a pension scheme, fun team socials, and complimentary fruit and snacks.You will be required to manage the development and delivery of all activity (in particular mobile activity) in the UK market, as well as supporting the strategy across other markets. You will also develop and implement the annual and monthly media plans tosupport the overall strategy for the brand. This role is performance-oriented, requiring advanced campaign management skills, good leadership, and excellent stakeholder management skills.As Digital Marketing Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and managing the strategy (focusing on mobile) aiming to rapidly build market share by driving new customer acquisition and increasing customer retention through channels
  • Managing a mixed channel budget by constantly reviewing internal and external agency performance and reporting on monthly performance across all UK channels, ensuring performance is aligned with companys strategy, budget, and defined CPA, FTD and ROI acquisitiontargets – across both mobile and desktop
  • Working closely with BI and other performance teams to ensure optimised allocation ofspend across mobile and desktop performance channels, including up weighing of spend into the best-performing channels
  • Reporting on mobile performance data reviewing the volume each campaign delivers as well as the quality of traffic received
  • Managing primary online and mobile acquisition channels including ad networks, in-app, paid search, social and programmatic
  • Managing the creative development and execution of marketing assets, including testing and optimisation, this may involve direct management of internal and external design resource.
  • Managing data flow between the company and external partners with an understanding of tracking/pixels/cookies and the ability to brief development teams
  • Demonstrating a strong understanding of attribution windows, S2S pixel tracking and campaign tagging
What we’re looking for in a Digital Marketing Manager:
  • Digital Campaign Management experience, including ROI based performance marketing working in the online gambling industry or similar high transactional online volume DR focused industry/business
  • In-depth knowledge of the digital media space including relationships with agencies and media owners.
  • Thorough understanding of all channels (including mobile) and their potential impact as an acquisition and retention tool
  • Ability to manage campaigns from beginning to end, including forecasting and performance in setting up and monitoring native campaigns is preferable
  • Strong understanding of digital tracking, measurement, and reporting tools – ability to analyse campaigns and draw out actionable insight
  • Understanding of usability and design principles to feed into testing of creative and landing pages
  • End to end understanding and track record of setting up, managing and meeting clear ROI targets across paid search, social and programmatic
  • Experience in directly managing media, performance and creative agencies
  • Previous budget management experience
