Data Manager | Building safety | Database | Reports | Power BI | Insight | Permanent | Job | LondonData Manager required to join a newly formed Safer Building team within a housing association based in London.The Data Manager will be the data owner and custodian of data improvement and reporting within the Safer Buildings Dept. Providing accurate up to date, regular and ad-hoc management and performance information for the Board, Executive Team and the wider business.The Data Manager will lead, develop and implement a data improvement program and corresponding reporting framework which underpins the Safer Building Department priorities and property services strategy; ensuring they have accurate and appropriate reporting to allow them to act and make decisions.This is a key role in a new team and will help ensure the safety of their customers.What you will do• Lead on the development and issuing of timely and accurate KPI reporting to the business• Identify data gaps and data quality issues and develop and deliver data improvement plans in collaboration with the Technology Data Team• Manage and report on the delivery of data and information improvement plans• Providing accurate, regular management and performance information in line with corporate and departmental timelines• Produce reports for the board, executive team as well as data analysis and reports required across the team• Analysing data to confirm its integrity, statistical validity and compliance• Ensure all reports, dashboards and outputs are produced and deployed securely and in line with data protection rules.• To collect, validate, interpret and present data in new and insightful ways• Support with the design, implementation and improvement of systems and EDMS for storage of property information• Source and implement new data sets where required, and work to continually improve the data managed in the Department• Act as the data owner for the Department and oversee the change control process with all relevant stakeholders• Work with the Data quality and Enterprise architect teams to ensure that all data is managed effectively and on our data management platform• Ensure that when buildings are built, developed, changed or decommissioned that they have effective processes in place to effectively capture those changes in the data view• Engage effectively with others to improve delivery of the Building Safer Teams prioritiesSkills / Experience• Advanced SQL TSQL and database management techniques• Advanced Excel/VBA and PowerBi (or equivalent reporting system)• Asset Management system experience desirable but not essential• Experience of working and obtaining insights from large data sets• Trend, and root cause analysis• Experience of data cleansing, Data quality and sourcing of new data sets• Data Modelling experience and the ability to understand where data is missing• Track record of delivering data and information improvement projectsIf you are an experienced Data Manager looking for your next role then please hit apply now!Data Manager | Building safety | Database | Reports | Power BI | Insight | Permanent | Job | London
