An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 8a Clinical Psychologist within the Camden Neurology and Stroke Service. The post is a 0.6 WTE community job with the base at St Pancras Hospital which is part of CNWL.The team provides specialist rehabilitation which includes a community neurology rehabilitation pathway for acute and progressive conditions as well as stroke early supported discharge pathways. The team supports and provides therapy input for people with a wide range of neurological diagnoses/ condition and has strong links with local acute trusts including UCLH (NHNN) and RFH. Psychologists within the team also provide a service to the Camden COPD and Home Oxygen team which manages patients with respiratory conditions.The Camden Neurology and Stroke Service embraces innovative and evidence based ways of delivering services and strives to provide a high quality service for all, aiming to support and nurture colleagues and team-members, to challenge and continually improve practice. The team includes Speech and Language therapists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Clinical Neuropsychologists and Rehabilitation Assistants.
