Clinical/Educational Psychologist/Neuropsychologist - Band 8bPermanent contract - WTE 0.6 (22.5 hours)We are pleased to advertise an exciting opportunity for an experienced Clinical Psychologist/Neuropsychologist to join the clinical Neuropsychology service at Great Ormond Street Hospital.The Neuropsychology service is part of the hospital’s Psychological & Mental Health Services (PAMHS). It provides diagnostic neuropsychology assessments of children and young people with various neurological conditions, including epilepsy and epilepsy surgery, neuro-oncology, neuro-immunology, neurovascular disorders, and traumatic brain injury, etc. Assessments involve a range of techniques, including neuropsychological testing and functional neuroimaging.The clinical service works in close collaboration with the Cognitive Neuroscience & Neuropsychiatry Section of the UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health (GOS-ICH), amounting to a group of approximately 25 clinicians and academics engaged in clinical and experimental neuropsychology. It is therefore an excellent setting in which to develop expertise in this area. The service also actively supports the MSc/PG Diploma in Applied/Paediatric Neuropsychology courses at GOS-ICH.The successful candidate will have significant training and experience in the field of clinical paediatric neuropsychology.
