Technician / Senior Technician - LondonAre you an expert in the preliminary/pre-planning 2D AutoCAD design of new junctions and adopted highways for new developments (residential, commercial etc)... Then I need you!This is a unique chance to join a leading, independently owned, transport planning consultancy that specialises in development planning across the UK. With a thriving business and continued growth guaranteed into 2021, my client is looking to bolster their design capacity in London by hiring a CAD Technician (potentially a Senior Tech).We are looking for a CAD Technician with 2-5 years design experience supporting a transport planning team/business. You will have provided the pre-planning/preliminary design for new developments across residential, commercial, industrial, educational or mixed-use sectors. You will be able to work independently but with support of a wider team and you will have strong industry knowledge and the ability to design new junctions, roundabouts and highways (new & adopted). You will have strong 2D AutoCAD design skills and knowledge of the DMRB and the Manual for Streets. I would also expect you to have vehicle tracking and swept path analysis experience.
