Job Description

University College Hospital, part of UCLH NHS Foundation Trust, has a reputation for innovation, research and providing excellent patient-focused care. The hospital sites are situated in the heart of the West end within easy reach of the many amenities that London has to offer.The Trust is one of the designated Hyper-Acute Stroke Units in London and imaging forms an integral part of the patient pathway. The UCH Imaging Department has a comprehensive range of state of the art equipment, including 6 MRI, 5 CT scanners, digital Interventional Suites and 10 digital X-ray rooms.The CT service has expanded with the opening of a new scanner as part of the Emergency department re-development earlier this year.Job Title Advanced Breast Radiographer Band 7 – 12 months Fixed termThis is an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic radiographers to join our forward-thinking and friendly department in the heart of Central London.As we offer a wide range of services, this is an excellent opportunity to learn new clinical skills and broaden your current skill base whilst working in a supportive team.We are looking to recruit radiographer with sophisticated communication skills and a patient-centred approach. Experience in Mammography is essential. Successful candidates will gain experience in a wide range of breast imaging including stereo–tactic biopsies and inclusion in multi-disciplinary team meetings.
