Job Description

3rd Line Infrastructure EngineerLondon based - Flexible and Remote working £55,000Mainstay are working with a leading service provider to look for a 3rd line Infrastructure Engineer for an exciting new London based role.The successful candidate should be an experienced 3rd line support engineer. Ideally the candidate will be a proven problem solver with a technical skillset that ranged wide, with in depth knowledge of Microsoft stack and cloud solutions.Role:

  • Accountability and ownership of client IT Systems
  • Managing the client onboarding process into the appropriate monitoring platform
  • Ensuring that all technical implementation/test/contingency plans are all prepared in case existing systems are not effected if changes are made.
  • All escalated calls should be properly managed.
  • Managing the clients pact management and infrastructure to a high level showing care and attention to detail with client computer devices, hardware and software.
  • Always be looking to identify potential ways of improving candidates automation.

Candidate:
  • Strong Network Operations experience
  • Highly experienced in Scripting -PowerShell
  • Good experience in Office 365
  • Understanding of Microsoft servers
  • Advanced understanding of network concepts
  • Experience with Firewalls, Routers, Storage
  • Demonstrates the ambition to achieve goals/objectives and the discipline, organisation and perseverance to deliver
  • Able to successfully work across multiple projects
