Job Description

A leading engineering company with a broad customer base, this is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage one of their key manufacturing teams.Responsibilities will include;

  • All aspects of managing, motivating and leading your team
  • Effective planning to achieve production targets including materials
  • Ensuring project, production and quality targets are achieved
  • Hands on building of electro-mechanical equipment
With great communication and interpersonal skills, you will have strong problem solving skills, be highly organised, decisive, confident and understand the challenges of building highly technical electro-mechanical equipment. The ability to effectively prioritiseis essential together with an engineering background. Ideally, you will be experienced with electro-mechanical products, special purpose machinery, capital equipment or similar and be happy with a hands on but leadership role.This role is easily commutable from Huntingdon, Cambridge, Ely, St Neots, Newmarket, Mildenhall, Thetford, Kings Lynn, March, Chatteris and more places within the East of England.This role may interest you if you have worked within an engineering or manufacturing environment as a Production Supervisor, Manufacturing Supervisor, Senior Technician, Lead Technician, Cell Lead, Cell Supervisor, Manufacturing Technician, Lead Engineer,Lead Technician, Build Technician, Manufacturing Team Leader, Manufacturing Supervisor or similar.
